About Me
Susan Freedman has a PhD in Clinical Sexology, a Masters in Mental Health Counseling, a Bachelors in Psychology, and is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor registered with the Florida Department of Health, #MH16953.
Susan is a Board Certified Clinical Sexologist a Certified Masters level Hypnotherapist and a trained EMDR clinician and Trauma Specialist. She also is a Gottman and EFT trained Psychotherapist.
She has experience in working with individuals and couples in the area of Sex Therapy, Sexual Intimacy and Dysfunction, Hypnotherapy, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) Trauma Therapy, Childhood Sexual Abuse, Addictions, Depression and Anxiety. She also has experience in working with the LGBTQ community. Susan also has experience in working with teens and adults in the area of social and general anxiety, depression, and helping them build self-esteem.
Susan is deeply passionate about helping clients work through trauma, find peace and lead happy and fulfilling lives. She works with couples to help them deepen their emotional connection, develop open communication and improve their sexual intimacy.
